Gia Scott

There is a lot going on and a lot is available via the internet from my blogs to the website, and don't forget the radio show!  Each Tuesday, as regular as clockwork, we bring you some of the most fascinating conversations to be found on internet radio today.  Each program is unique, and occasionally, I'll arrange to do a series of programs on a related topic.  Last fall/winter, I did a series on "milabs", and this spring, the series was "Women of Ufology."  For the fall series, we're planning a series on independent musicians.

For the blogs, which provides THE most up-to-the-minute information, ideas, and thoughts, here are the links:

Gia Scott (general Gia-stuff!)

Get Ready GO (outdoors, camping, glamping, and emergency preparedness)

Downsizing Chronicles (all about downsizing to live in a travel trailer, good and bad, happy and sad)

Gulf Coast Foods (The food, shopping, restaurants, recipes, etc. for the Mississippi Gulf Coast)

Cycle As Is (bicycles, motored bicycles, reality for the casual cyclist)

Gia Pets (pet stuff, mostly about dogs, not as frequent entries as the others)

Check out the radio show's schedule, which is currently found on both the home page and on the Dawn of Shades page.  This will tell you which guests are appearing when.

Gregory Miller is now hosting Voice of the People on the UFO Paranormal Radio Network, following some very hard shoes to fill with the departure of November Hanson, a long time friend and associate of both Gia and Greg.  This program airs live on Saturdays, from 8-10 pm, and features Greg's unique interaction with his guests.  While Gia and Greg are a couple, they have decidedly different hosting techniques, which makes for interesting diversity between their programs.

The Voice of the People Radio schedule is posted on the home page.

Finally, after three years of engagement, Gia and Greg have announced their wedding date.  They will exchange vows on October 29, 2011 in Hancock County, Mississippi on the beach by the Gulf of Mexico.  Immediately following the ceremony, a Gathering is to be held in the Spirit of Universal Love and Peace, and food will be shared with their guests as everyone has an opportunity to commune with Nature, their companions, and the newlywed couple.

The ceremony itself will be held at 2 p.m., with the Gathering formally beginning immediately afterwards.  Food will be served, as well as the traditional cake.  Coffee and soft drinks will also be provided.

This wedding is being held on Halloween weekend, and in the spirit of Universal Love, they are asking that all guests come dressed in some version of a "hippy" costume.  No suits or formal attire is permitted on the beach.  Dogs are welcome, on leash.

In the spirit of the 1960s hippy, Universal Love, Peace, and the planet, the couple is not sending formal paper invitations.  For this informal gathering, they simply ask that everyone who will be attending to please RSVP by email or SMS message before the 10th of October to allow for a head count for the food and beverages.  They ask that guests bring a folding chair with them as well, and suggest water shoes and towels too.  Please be aware that there are no lifeguards on Hancock County's beaches, but the sand is beautiful and the waters will still be warm.  This is a family-friendly gathering, so bring sand toys for the kids!

We will welcome our friends and family to share this happy occasion with us, and sincerely hope that many can come and join in the Gathering, which is surely going to be a special event.

To help everyone who is coming from out of town, we will check on campsites for our hippy friends.  For our broke yuppy friends, we will negotiate for a low motel rate.  For our friends who want fancier digs, we suggest they check out the offerings at the casinos in Biloxi/Gulfport...but they are really on their own!  To help in our negotiations, please let us know when you RSVP whether you need a campsite or a motel room.

The couple will leave on their glamping honeymoon following the Gathering.

Gifts are not expected, but will be graciously accepted.  The couple has registered with Amazon.com and Walmart.com only.

Birth: When the Spiritual and the Material Come Together, published by Phoenix Books and Audio.

Shari Arison, who Forbes magazine calls one of the top 50 influential women in the world and who Deepak Chopra  says, ”In this best-selling book, Birth: When the Spiritual and the Material Come Together, Shari Arison's incredible spiritual journey, non-traditional business acumen, and overwhelming philanthropic generosity will inspire you, encourage you and show you how to take your own leap of faith from ordinary to phenomenal."

Birth: When The Spiritual and The Material Come Together
by Shari Arison

In Birth: When the Spiritual and the Material Come Together, Arison provides her vision for creating a new reality for the future, generated from a marriage of the spiritual and the material. She currently sees the world collapsing into a mess of personal and corporate greed—a world rampant with financial corruption, environmental negligence, and decaying social values. In Birth, she presents a compelling message that every person in the world is capable of contributing to change. Arison’s account chronicles her own journeys, both spiritually and in business, that led to the repositioning of the Arison Group as an enterprise focused on balancing profit with a strong commitment to sustainability and philanthropy. She passionately advocates mutual responsibility, intimately outlining how one must first turn within him or herself and attain inner peace to work toward the larger picture of world accord. With Arison’s plan for the future,
every person can convert crisis into opportunity.

Birth illuminates the convergence of the spiritual and the material and presents valuable insights on their crucial connection. Arison powerfully maps out a model that will enable individuals and corporations to incite change and ultimately give birth to a brighter future.
