Her guest appearance on The Barb Campbell Show brought Julia the opportunity to host her own internet talk show Namaste Beloved! Which premiered on May 24, 2007 on the EBSPN, and now airs each and every Wednesday and Friday evening from 9:00-11:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Blog Talk Radio.

Known throughout the internet for her in-depth spiritual knowledge, no-holds-barred down-to-earth personality, quick wit, charming grace & obsession for duct tape, Julia K. Cole, aka The Empress, first hit the internet talk radio scene in May 2006 when she appeared as a guest on Magick Mind Paranormal Research Radio.

In June of that year, she became a regular Friday co-host of that show. Julia's popularity with Magick Mind's listening audience quickly grew into a large following and subsequently landed her a full-time position on the talk show including her own weekly spot each and every Wednesday evening until her departure in January 2007.

Julia has also made numerous guest appearances on other internet radio talk shows such as The Lou Gentile Show; You Are What You Love, The Cari Stone Show, Ghost Census Radio, The Barb Campbell Show, Spirit Finders, Talk Help Radio, Another Reality Talk Show, and The Three Para-migos (n.k.a. Haunted Survivors Radio).

Coming from a strict religious upbringing, Julia reluctantly began using her psychic abilities publicly in the late 1990's. By 2002, Julia made the decision to test her skills over the internet which subsequently lead to her working as a full-time psychic reader. Since then, Julia has been providing peace and comfort by sharing her knowledge world-wide.

Having a strong connection with those in spirit, Julia has not only brought healing and comfort to those grieving, but has proven herself a valuable tool & asset to numerous paranormal investigators across the U.S.A.

Mother of five and a widow, Julia currently resides in her hometown, Louisville, Kentucky, with her two youngest children and fourteen cats.

Normal

This is an example of what is not paranormal, rivulets of fog catch the flash from the camera which then become an artifact in the picture.  These are not classical "orbs", merely droplets of water reflecting the light back into the camera lens.

Vaishali attended San Francisco State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Religion & Philosophy Department. Vaishali has spent her adult life seeking esoteric wisdom and studying diverse spiritual and religious expressions of God consciousness. Since the early 90’s she has conducted spiritual workshops.

Sometimes wisdom is best served up like M&M candies, in small pieces that you can savor, enjoy and hold in your hand. So it is with Vaishali's new book, "Wisdom Rising." It is a delightful, sweet, and satisfying collection of brilliant articles and short stories, that like gem quality jewels, are a thing of beauty, and a joy to behold.

The topics and subject matter are as wide and diverse as wisdom is infinite. Vaishali offers everything from a test to see how Spiritually healthy you are; to an examination of what happens when you die; to how humor is a Spiritual necessity; to Oscar Wilde; to paranormal and non-ordinary reality experiences, and everything in between.

Vaishali has learned much about suffering from the many challenges in her life including being diagnosed terminal twice. She has distilled the wisdom she
gained on her road to personal empowerment into a buffet of tasty reading treats. As Vaishali likes to say, “Please, learn from my life, so you don’t have to
gather profound wisdom the way I did... which is the hard, ugly, highly unfashionable, painful way.”

About Vaishali

One of the things that I have always felt needed upgrading more than our technological toys, is our concept of Spirituality. It seems mainstream awareness is as out dated, uptight and out of touch with reality as the Puritans who first put their hands into stirring up the "what is acceptable Spiritually pot."

Spirituality is about LOVE, first, last and foremost! Unfortunately, real love seems to have taken the biggest hit in our modern handling of Spirituality. Love has become convoluted and confused for what it is not. Love is not a possession; it is not a quality that is earned, or a commodity that is exchanged for personal gain. Love is our inherent nature. Love is not who we are, but rather what we are! Love is inseparable from what we give our attention to, because as God consciousness, we do not have awareness, we are awareness. And whatever we give our awareness to we are infusing with God juice.

My life purpose is to embody the Spiritual teacher that I was brought to this planet to be. My goal is to share timeless, eternal wisdom through writing, teaching, consulting, radio, television, iPod players; by any means available with any and all ready and willing to learn, heal and grow. My life's journey has been about demystifying the mystery of why we are here. I have survived almost every possible personal challenge anyone could face. These experiences created the venue for practicing Love Now and a heartfelt appreciation on how to understand the purpose behind human life when all is so bleak.

I wanted to create a venue through which people might examine what it is they are giving their attention to – how are you using your mind. You Are What You Love is that perfect venue. 18th century scientist, philosopher and spiritual explorer Emanuel Swedenborg has been such a profound shaper of my understanding and wisdom that to attempt to share the Truth without his contribution seemed impossible to me. The problem is that so few people have ever heard of the guy that massive education was required to establish a common ground upon which we might share and explore True Self. You Are What You Love makes Swedenborg’s philosophies more accessible and my dream is that I am able to make him a household word just like Jesus, Dalia Lama, Buddha, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Dr Phil, Cheech & Chong and Homer Simpson. I wanted to make Swedenborg fun and easy, so everyone could benefit from this amazing force of Love. Not just for those who read fluent Latin, as that is all Swedenborg wrote in. Not just for those who received an education in Religious philosophies, but for everyone who ever hungered for the Truth. For everyone who desired to set their mind free.

I also wanted to show that every Spiritual tradition is saying the same thing. In this modern world of prove it to me scientifically anal retentiveness, there is a measurable, readily experiential, duplicable evidence of ONENESS. There can be heard a single, unwavering voice of consistent unconditional Love, amidst the chorus of Spiritual and religious singers throughout all of recorded time.

You Are What You Love was written to provide a tool by which you may improve the quality of you life, make the mind your friend, and to get a leg up on ending suffering as we know it.

Rock on and Divine Blessings to us all!

Forward ~

My favorite joke about my life is that before I was born, God asked, “Who wants to learn from more pain?” I must have thought he said “more gain” and asked for extra.

My life challenges began at birth. I was born with a birth defect on my face. Although I underwent several cosmetic surgeries to correct the problem, it was still visually evident until in my late teens, early twenties. My parents divorced and remarried numerous times. Often this revolving door of parents brought with it the dynamics of alcoholism, abuse and years of parental neglect.

At the age of eight, I could barely read or write and did not even know how to spell my last name! As a result I was placed in a special education program designed to bring problem students up to speed with the rest of their class. Over the next few years my special education teacher patiently spent hour after hour teaching me how to read, write and speak properly. She became the nurturing, unconditionally loving Mother figure I so desperately needed. Then suddenly, she was violently murdered by someone who wanted to make the crime look like it was a ritualistic killing. Needless to say her homicide was inconceivably horrible. I was so traumatized by her death, I suppressed all memories of her until a few years later when the police caught the assumed killer. With the resurgence of the incident in everyone’s conversations, I allowed my memory of her to resurface.

Like many, I have been lied to and cheated on by nearly all my intimate relationships. I also went through an ugly divorce, what has become a normal right of passage into adulthood.

I have been diagnosed terminal twice: once from an illness and the second time from car accident injuries. I have experienced years and years of the kind of physical pain you would jump off a building to get out of. (Good thing I lived on the first floor most of this time.) When it came time for the car accident trial, I lost. I was buried in legal and medical expenses. I lost my business and my entire life savings. If suffering were a buffet, I have apparently sampled everything at least once and gone back for seconds on the really juicy items.

The gift of earning a Ph.D. in suffering is that I learned how to resolve it, and use it for my benefit. I clearly recognize what causes this limitation we call suffering in the flow of our lives. I also understand what wisdom releases it, or at the very least, diminishes its destructive impact. To have any authentic value in life, wisdom has to be practical in both its understanding as well as its application. If the wisdom you have is not pulling your butt consistently out of life’s many fires, it is meaningless! Real wisdom detoxifies you and develops within you the strength, power and agility to handle whatever obstacles life throws your way.

The process of repeated self-resurrection has blessed me with a profound canon of wisdom that covers vast territory in the realm of the human experience. Every life challenge that is a source of suffering is like an oyster stimulated by a grain of sand, resulting in the growth of a pearl. In my case suffering produced great pearls of wisdom. Wisdom Rising is a collection of those pearls, strung together to create a jeweled accessory stylish enough to adorn and compliment the remarkable and extraordinary wardrobe know as the human experience.

Wear it with all my love and Blessings, and dazzle the world with your stellar, eternal, Divine beauty.

Love,
Vaishali
